Opaque & masking labels, made In-house

Opaque and masking labels often rely on specialized pre-made laminates designed to deliver the opacity, printability, and adhesive performance required for the application. But purchasing the finished construction is not the only option.

This video shows how ETI technology brings the laminate-building process in-house. Two webs, facestock and liner, are independently controlled, then combined through an integrated process including flexographic printing, reverse printing, a blue flood coat for opacity, UV free-radical silicone coating, hot-melt adhesive coating, inline lamination, and precision die-cutting.

The result is more than an opaque label. It is the flexibility to manufacture specialized label constructions around your own materials, product requirements, and specifications, instead of being limited to pre-made laminates.
